The Calpeda NGM 5/16 is a robust self-priming jet assisted pump designed for domestic water supply, pressure boosting and irrigation applications. Featuring a heavy-duty cast iron pump body and brass impeller, the pump delivers reliable performance with excellent resistance to wear and corrosion when handling clean water.

The jet-assisted hydraulic system allows the pump to self-prime efficiently and maintain suction even with air present in the pipeline, making it suitable for drawing water from wells, tanks and underground sources. Capable of lifting water from depths up to approximately 8 metres, the NGM 5/16 is ideal for installations where the pump is positioned above the water level.

Powered by a single-phase motor, the pump delivers strong flow rates up to approximately 80 litres per minute with a maximum head around 50 metres, providing dependable pressure for household supply, garden irrigation and water transfer duties. Thermal overload protection safeguards the motor against overheating, while the close-coupled design ensures compact installation and stable operation.

Suitable for clean, non-aggressive liquids free from solids, the NGM 5/16 offers a durable and efficient solution for automatic pressure systems and general pumping tasks requiring dependable self-priming capability.
