The DAB 151PRO is a rugged surface-mounted self-priming jet pressure pump designed for pressure boosting, irrigation, and water transfer applications. It is particularly suited for installations requiring water lifting from tanks, rivers, and dams, delivering reliable suction performance even in the presence of air bubbles or light sandy impurities.
This pump is widely used in domestic water supply systems, horticulture, and small-scale agricultural applications, as well as light industrial services. Its twin impeller design enhances pressure capability, making it suitable for systems requiring higher head performance and stable water delivery.
Constructed with a GJL 200 cast iron pump body, the unit provides high mechanical strength and durability. The hydraulic components including the impeller, jet, venturi, and diffuser are manufactured from glass reinforced Noryl, ensuring efficient flow performance and resistance to wear. A carbon ceramic nitrile mechanical seal and nitrile O-rings provide reliable sealing and long service life.
This model delivers a maximum head of 75 metres and a maximum flow rate of 75 L/Min. The integrated jet and venturi system enables suction capability of up to 8 metres under optimal conditions, ensuring efficient self-priming performance.
Powered by a 1.1 kW single-phase motor operating on 240V, the pump features a TEFC motor design with in-built auto-reset thermal overload protection. It operates at 2800 RPM and is rated to IP44, ensuring safe and reliable operation. The nXt PRO dual mode controller enables automatic start and stop operation, incorporates a check valve, and provides dry run protection for system safety.
The pump supports a fluid temperature range from 0°C to 35°C and operates at a maximum pressure of 8 bar. It is approved for drinking water applications as per AS/NZ 4020 certification, making it suitable for potable water systems.
