The DAB FEKA VS GRINDER M is a manual submersible pump with shredder for sewage, certified to EN 12050-1 for lifting systems handling wastewater containing faecal matter. This non-automated variant operates without a float switch, configured for construction sites and septic effluent disposal setups.

Performance relies on a dry asynchronous and waterproof motor cooled directly by the pumped liquid. Operating on a single-phase 240v electrical supply, the 1.0 kW system achieves a max flow rate of 240 L/Min and vertical head up to 25 m. The unit draws a rated current of 6.2 Amps during continuous draining cycles.

The structural foundation utilizes a cast iron pump body and base, ensuring the complete assembly maintains a net weight of 23 kg. A stainless steel motor casing protects internal components, while a vortex impeller cast from iron handles continuous grey water pumping tasks. The internal grinding system is made of AISI 630 stainless steel. The motor is Class F insulated with IP68 protection.

To prevent fluid intrusion during extended submersion, the design implements a double mechanical seal utilizing an interposed non-toxic oil chamber. Silicon carbide is deployed on the pump side working alongside carbon-alumina on the motor side. The processed wastewater is discharged through a standard 40 mm outlet, with a maximum immersion depth of 7 meters.
