Engineered with resilient architecture, the primary housing casting integrates durable ABS thermoplastic alongside 304 stainless steel elements. The Davey DC10M Domestic Submersible Dewatering Pump utilizes this composite structure to withstand corrosive environments during targeted manual fluid extraction. Combining high-impact polymers with metallic fasteners ensures long-term stability within sumps and catchments.

The model incorporates a highly specialized double case layout that directs the discharge fluid directly past the internal motor shell. This active thermodynamic pathway mitigates heat buildup, ensuring all internal components remain within safe operating temperatures. This dedicated cooling mechanism allows safe operation in partially submerged configurations without risking immediate thermal shutdown.

Hydraulic capability is driven by an open impeller centrifugal configuration, delivering a maximum flow of approximately 80 L/Min and a head of 6 m. Powered by a single-phase 240v electrical design, the motor outputs 0.1 kW. Utilizing a manual operating mode, it provides direct operator control over drainage, expelling fluids via a 25 mm port.

Mechanical protection utilizes a premium silicon carbide and ceramic shaft seal entirely submerged in an oil bath. Defended by an additional sand slinger lip seal, the assembly successfully rejects abrasive particulate ingress.

    Features
    • Designed specifically for manual operation necessitating manual intervention when the fluid drops to the top of the pump housing.
    • Capable of processing neutral pH clean water containing up to 10 percent small soft organic solids under 4mm external diameter.
    • Maximum continuous fluid operating temperature limit is strictly rated up to 50 degrees Celsius.
    • Designed with a total unit net weight of 4 kg for highly streamlined temporary deployment and rapid manual retrieval.
    • Built to stringent Class F electrical insulation standards combined with an IPX8 ingress protection rating.
    • Requires minimum recommended pit dimensions of 200mm width by 450mm length by 450mm height for optimal deployment.
