Managing steep vertical lift requirements in deep industrial projects demands specialized technology. The DT55KZN-H serves as a proven performer pumping muddy liquids and slurries across severe environments. It efficiently executes ground and nuisance water removal for subterranean tunnel and dam infrastructure.

The hydraulic drive utilizes a 5.5 kW motor connected to a 415v three-phase circuit, drawing a rated current of 11.5 Amps. Engineered as a high head slurry configuration, it develops an approximate maximum head of 17.5 metres. The system generates an approximate maximum flow rate of 1700 L/Min via an 80 mm discharge port.

Abrasive liquid handling is governed by a multivane semi-open impeller, processing solid concentrations up to 70 percent by weight. Positioned beneath the intake, a heavy duty high chrome agitator actively works the fluid, causing solids to move in suspension. This prevents clogging while passing 25 mm solids.

To combat relentless friction, the pump body is cast from FCD450 hardened ductile iron with extra thick walls rated at 300 Brinnell hardness. A 410 stainless steel shaft provides the rotational backbone alongside a high chrome iron suction cover. The IP68 rated assembly operates in 40 degree Celsius liquids.

    FEATURES

    • Internal motor water jacket combined with a top discharge allows the unit to safely pump within inches of the bottom without overheating.
    • Hardened surface wear plate acts as a sacrificial component to inhibit performance-reducing erosion along the critical suction boundary.
    • Abrasion resistant double silicon carbide mechanical seals reside within an isolated oil chamber for uncompromised motor protection.
    • Heavy duty nitrile lip seal supplements the primary sealing arrangement by deflecting highly abrasive suspended grit.
    • Sleek vertical slimline design significantly minimizes the chance of damage to the outlet during transit or deployment down shafts.
    • Removable stainless steel shaft sleeves provide a highly economical replacement pathway to bypass premature central shaft wear.
    • Large open steel strainer physically blocks oversized destructive solids before they can enter the internal impeller cavity.
    • Heavy duty lifting rings are securely mounted to the top shell for easy lifting and transportation of the pump.
