Designated for municipal and industrial wastewater, the 100 DMLV 515L is an addition to the Model DMLV series. It is suitable for submersible sewage and drainage applications containing large, long-fibred and stringy materials. Installation methods include quick discharge connector systems and standard freestanding installations. It is suitable for guide rail auto-coupling and standard freestanding installations.
Features of construction include a casing made from Cast Iron casing, cast iron lower bracket, and FCD400 ductile cast iron vortex impeller, with SUS403 stainless steel shaft. Inside, the vortex impeller has a measurement of 100 mm. The unit is designed for liquids containing solids up to 100 mm in diameter. The net weight of this pumping unit is 180 kg. The allowable liquid temperature range goes up to 40°C.
Operating at 1450 RPM, the 15 kW motor requires a three-phase 415v power feed with a current of 31 Amps. The hydraulic performance curve peaks at 22.5 metres of head and 2800 L/Min of flow. The discharge connection is sized at 100 mm.
Class F motor insulation and an IP68 rating provide environmental protection for submerged operation. The design allows submersion depths up to 8 metres. Shaft sealing is performed by a double mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces. This model is designed for star-delta starting and incorporates miniature thermal protectors in motor windings.
