    Designated for municipal and industrial wastewater, the 50 DG 53.7 is an addition to the Model DG series. It is suitable for transfer of domestic sewage and grey water containing macerable soft solids. Installation methods include quick discharge connector systems and standard freestanding installations. It is suitable for guide rail auto-coupling and standard freestanding installations.

    Features of construction include a casing made from Cast Iron casing, cast iron disc cover, FC200 cast iron impeller, SUS403 stainless steel shaft, and hardened grinder mechanism. Inside, the grinder impeller has a measurement of 50 mm. The unit is designed for sewage containing macerable soft solids. The net weight of this pumping unit is 46 kg. The allowable liquid temperature range goes up to 40°C.

    Operating at 2925 RPM, the 3.7 kW motor requires a three-phase 415v power feed with a current of 7.4 Amps. The hydraulic performance curve peaks at 30 metres of head and 300 L/Min of flow. The discharge connection is sized at 50 mm.

    Class F motor insulation and an IP68 rating provide environmental protection for submerged operation. The design allows submersion depths up to 8 metres. Shaft sealing is performed by a double mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces. This model incorporates miniature thermal protectors in motor windings.
