Features of construction include a casing made from Cast Iron casing, cast iron lower bracket, and cast iron vortex impeller, with SUS403 stainless steel shaft. Inside, the vortex impeller has a measurement of 80 mm. The unit is designed for liquids containing solids up to 80 to 100 mm in diameter. The net weight of this pumping unit is 80 kg. The allowable liquid temperature range goes up to 40°C.
Operating at 1450 RPM, the 3.7 kW motor requires a three-phase 415v power feed with a current of 8.4 Amps. The hydraulic performance curve peaks at 13 metres of head and 1400 L/Min of flow. The discharge connection is sized at 80 mm.
Class F motor insulation and an IP68 rating provide environmental protection for submerged operation. The design allows submersion depths up to 8 metres. Shaft sealing is performed by a double mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces. This model is designed for star-delta starting and incorporates miniature thermal protectors in motor windings.
