Operating on a 415v supply, it draws a rated current of 7.8 Amps and includes a 10 m submersible power cable. The 2-pole air-filled dry motor is rated for continuous duty at synchronous speeds of 3000 rpm.

Sealing is managed by a double mechanical seal in an oil chamber featuring Silicon Carbide lower faces and Carbon/Ceramic upper faces. The rotating assembly uses 304 stainless steel fasteners and is protected by an in-built thermal protector.
