The hydraulic system features a vortex impeller that permits the passage of soft suspended solids up to 20 mm. This hydraulic configuration provides an open internal path through the 32 mm vertical delivery port, reducing the risk of obstruction when moving liquids containing soft organic debris. It is engineered for stable operation in light dewatering tasks where high-solids tolerance is required.
Materials of construction feature 304 stainless steel for the pump casing, motor frame, and impeller paired with an AISI 303 stainless steel shaft. Protection is managed by a mechanical seal in an oil-lubricated chamber featuring Ceramic/Carbon faces and a NBR lip seal. The rotating assembly utilizes sealed ball bearings for mechanical support, and all internal fasteners are manufactured from 304 stainless steel for long-term corrosion resistance.
Draining wells, cellars, and the lifting of water containing soft solids are the documented applications for this manual vortex unit. It is rated for liquid temperatures reaching 50°C and maximum submergence depths of 5 meters. The manual configuration is suited for use in collection pits where continuous drainage is required or where pumping cycles are managed by external manual switching.
Performance output for the 0.25 kW motor includes flow rates of up to 170 L/Min and a total head of up to 6 m. Drawing a rated current of 2.2 Amps on a 240v single-phase supply, the unit is equipped with a 5 m submersible power cable with plug. The air-filled 2-pole induction motor is designed for reliable submerged operation and includes an in-built thermal protector for winding safety.
