Constructed with a Cast Iron ASTM 35 B housing, the Grundfos APG.50.92.3 is a vertical single-stage submersible pump with an integrated 3-phase motor. This model is designed for pumping wastewater and sewage in pressurised systems. It is suitable for submerged installation on an auto-coupling system or with a ring stand for free-standing use in pits without an external cooling jacket.

The housing material, specified as Cast Iron EN-JL1040, surrounds internal motor components. The CUTTER SYSTEM impeller, manufactured from Cast Iron EN-JL1040, processes solids in the fluid path. The unit weighs 116 kg and operates in liquids up to 40 °C. Structural assembly follows ISO9906:2012 3B curve tolerance standards. The vertical configuration allows for deployment in wet environments.

The 9.2 kW motor operates on a 415v supply with a rated current of 19.1 Amps. The pump achieves a maximum head of 68 meters and a maximum flow of 514.8 L/Min through a 50 mm discharge outlet. Power input P1 is 11 kW with a rated output power P2 of 9.2 kW. The unit uses a 3-phase 50 Hz source with a power factor of 0.81. The unit features a DN 50 discharge port.

Thermal protection is provided by Class F insulation with an IP68 enclosure rating. The pump supports installation depths up to 10 meters and includes a 10 m mains cable. Double mechanical shaft seals provide containment with an oil chamber pre-filled with non-toxic oil. The motor incorporates greased-for-life ball bearings.
