Product Overview
The Grundfos CMB 3-37 is a compact pressure boosting pump designed for domestic water supply and light commercial applications. It is supplied as a complete booster unit with an integrated PM1 pressure manager, allowing automatic start and stop operation based on demand while protecting the pump against dry running.
The pump features a cast iron pump housing combined with multistage stainless steel impellers (AISI 304), providing strength, corrosion resistance, and reliable long-term performance. The unit also includes an integrated non-return valve to ensure stable operation within pressurised systems.
The pump operates at a rated flow of 3.1 m³/h with a corresponding head of 27.7 metres. Based on the performance curve, it delivers a maximum flow of approximately 70 L/min at low head conditions and achieves a maximum head of approximately 37 metres at shut-off. The unit is not self-priming and supports a maximum suction lift of 1 metre.
The unit is powered by a 0.5 kW electric motor operating on a 1 x 240 V, 50 Hz supply. The integrated PM1 controller operates with a fixed start pressure of 1.5 bar, ensuring consistent and automatic pressure boosting performance.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
