The Grundfos CMB 3-37 (PS) is an automatic pressure boosting pump system designed for agricultural water supply, domestic use, and light commercial installations where minor leakages may occur. The system includes a Grundfos CM pump, five-way valve, and pressure switch, enabling automatic operation based on pressure demand.
The pump is constructed with a stainless steel pump housing and multistage stainless steel impellers (AISI 304), ensuring corrosion resistance and long service life. The integrated return valve supports system stability, while the modular booster design allows easy installation when paired with a suitable pressure tank.
The pump operates at a rated flow of 3.1 m³/h with a corresponding head of 27.4 metres. From the performance curve, the unit achieves a maximum head of approximately 36.6 metres at shut-off and delivers a maximum flow of approximately 70 L/min under low head conditions. The system is not self-priming and supports a maximum suction lift of 1 metre.
The unit is powered by a 0.5 kW electric motor operating on a 1 x 220–240 V, 50 Hz supply. The pressure switch operates within an adjustable pressure range of 1 to 5 bar, allowing flexible control based on system requirements. A pressure tank is required for complete system operation.
