The Grundfos CMBE 1-44 is a compact pressure boosting pump designed for domestic and light commercial applications including pressure boosting, irrigation, and system pressurisation. It maintains consistent pressure through its integrated frequency converter, automatically adjusting motor speed based on water demand.
The pump is constructed with a stainless steel pump housing and stainless steel impellers (AISI 304), providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The system is supplied as a complete booster set including a CME pump, expansion tank, pressure sensor, pressure gauge, and non-return valve, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
The pump operates at a rated flow of 2.4 m³/h with a corresponding head of 28.7 metres. This duty point represents the optimal operating condition for maintaining stable pressure across domestic systems. It supports a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar for consistent performance.
The unit is powered by an electric motor with integrated frequency converter rated at 0.55 kW (P2), operating on a 1 x 200–240 V, 50 Hz supply. The motor operates across a speed range of 360 to 4000 RPM, providing efficient and adaptive performance without the need for external control systems.
