The Grundfos CMBE TWIN 3-62 is a variable speed pressure boosting pump system designed for domestic and light commercial applications including pressure boosting, irrigation, and system pressurisation. The twin configuration consists of two pumps operating in parallel, ensuring higher flow capacity and continuous pressure stability under varying demand conditions.

Constructed with stainless steel pump housing and stainless steel impellers (AISI 304), the system offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The complete booster system includes dual pumps, expansion tanks, pressure sensors, pressure gauges, and a base frame, enabling reliable and efficient multi-pump operation with automatic load balancing.

The system operates at a rated flow of 4.2 m³/h with a corresponding head of 45.2 metres. Based on the performance curve, it achieves a maximum head of approximately 65 metres at low flow conditions. The twin pump arrangement enables cascade operation, automatically switching pumps on or off and adjusting speed to match system demand.

The unit is powered by two electric motors rated at 1.1 kW (P2) each, operating on a 1 x 200–240 V, 50 Hz supply. Integrated speed control ensures efficient operation and consistent pressure delivery across the system.
