The Grundfos CMBE TWIN 5-62 is a variable speed pressure boosting pump system designed for domestic and light commercial applications including pressure boosting, irrigation, and water supply systems. The twin configuration consists of two booster units connected in parallel, ensuring higher capacity and consistent pressure under varying demand conditions.

Constructed with stainless steel pump housing and multistage stainless steel impellers (AISI 304), the system provides excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The complete booster system includes dual pumps, expansion tanks, pressure sensors, pressure gauges, and a base frame, enabling reliable and efficient multi-pump operation.

The system operates at a rated flow of 6 m³/h with a corresponding head of 47.8 metres. Based on the performance curve, the unit achieves a maximum head of approximately 70 metres at low flow conditions. The twin system operates with cascade control, automatically switching pumps on or off and adjusting speed to match demand.

The unit is powered by two electric motors rated at 1.5 kW (P2) each, operating on a 1 x 200–240 V, 50 Hz supply. Integrated speed control allows the system to maintain constant pressure while optimizing energy consumption.
