Unlike a fixed-speed circulator, the Grundfos Comfort 15-14 B TA adds automatic control to the compact brass body used across the Comfort range. It is designed for domestic storage tank and tankless heater installations where hot water return lines benefit from demand-based operation rather than continuous running.
Rated flow reaches 7.5 L/Min against a maximum head of 1.4 m, drawn from a 7 W motor at 0.07 A on a 1 x 240 V supply, matching the hydraulic output of the fixed-speed Comfort range while adding selectable operating logic. Three modes are available: AUTOADAPT for automatic demand-based adjustment, Temperature Control for return-line temperature triggering, and Continuous Operation for round-the-clock running when preferred.
In AUTOADAPT mode the pump reads system behaviour and adjusts its own duty cycle rather than running at a fixed rate regardless of demand, while Temperature Control mode limits operation to periods when the return line has actually cooled. A spherical rotor and single-bearing arrangement keep internal friction low across whichever mode is selected.
The drinking-water approved brass housing handles liquid temperatures up to 95°C and system pressures to 10 bar, with the pump head removable for cleaning in hard water areas. At 80 mm port-to-port with an IP44 enclosure and included insulating shell, it fits tight installation spaces while giving the installer control over how the pump actually runs.
