Product Overview

Dosing Fluorosilicic Acid (FSA) and other specialised chemicals requires enhanced sensing technology to maintain safety and accuracy. This specific DDA FCM-C configuration is engineered with a Sapphire sensor to meet the unique monitoring requirements of aggressive chemical applications that standard sensors cannot accommodate.

The unit operates with a 24 W power input and delivers 7.5 L/h at a 16 bar maximum pressure rating. It achieves a wide turn-down ratio of 3000:1, providing the torque and speed control necessary to manage dosing rates from its maximum capacity down to a precise minimum of 0.0025 L/h for sensitive process control.

Precision is maintained through stepper motor technology and FlowControl measurement. AutoFlowAdapt automatically compensates for changes in process pressure to maintain accurate dosing.

Construction includes a PVDF head, PTFE gaskets, and a specialised Sapphire sensor for FSA compatibility. Control and connectivity are managed via communication functions available according to the selected control variant. The unit is rated for liquids up to 45°C and features an IP65 enclosure for industrial placement.

What corrosion-resistant materials are used in the wetted components?

Built with a resilient PVDF body, the Grundfos DDA 7.5-16 maintains material durability against fluid abrasion and wear.

How much power does the motor consume during standard operation?

Driven by a 0.024 kW motor, the DDA 7.5-16 functions reliably on 240 V single-phase electrical circuits.

What submersion depth limits and fluid temperatures apply to this pump?

Fluid media ranging up to 45 °C can be circulated through the DDA-7-5-16 without thermal breakdown.

What peak dynamic elevation does this pump develop?

To overcome vertical elevation resistance, the DDA 7 5 16 develops a maximum pumping head of approximately 160 m.

How much water volume can this unit move through the pipework?

At full operating capacity, the DDA/7/5/16 moves up to 0.125 L/Min to keep liquid levels controlled during peak inflow.
