Product Overview

Chemical industry applications requiring higher dosing capacity are served by the DMX 460-6 mechanical diaphragm dosing pump from Grundfos. Manual stroke length adjustment from 10-100% yields a 10:1 turndown ratio for dosing rate control.

At 50 Hz, the DMX 460-6 delivers 460 L/h maximum flow at 6 bar pressure. A 0.40 kW motor with 3 x 415v supply powers the unit. Dosing flow variation is maintained at less than ±1.5% with linearity within ±4% at minimum 1 bar differential pressure. Suction lift capability extends to 2 metres.

EPDM gaskets and ceramic balls are fitted in the DMX 460-6 thermoplastic dosing head. Standard non-return valves come on both connections. The PTFE-coated diaphragm handles liquid temperatures from 0 to 40°C.

IP65 enclosure with aluminium housing protects the DMX 460-6. G5/4 connections accommodate 19/27 and 20/25 mm connections.
