High flow water treatment applications are addressed by the DMX 525-3 mechanical diaphragm dosing pump from Grundfos. Manual stroke length adjustment from 10-100% gives a 10:1 turndown ratio for dosing rate control.

At 50 Hz, the DMX 525-3 delivers 525 L/h maximum dosing capacity at 3 bar pressure. A 0.40 kW motor on 3 x 415v supply powers the unit. Dosing flow variation is maintained at less than ±1.5% with linearity within ±4% at minimum 1 bar differential pressure. Suction lift capability is 1 metre.

Stainless steel valve balls and EPDM gaskets are fitted in the DMX 525-3 thermoplastic dosing head. Standard non-return valves come on both connections. The PTFE-coated diaphragm handles liquid temperatures from 0 to 40°C.

IP65 enclosure with aluminium housing protects the DMX 525-3. 40 mm connections accommodate high flow requirements.
