Product Overview

Gymnasiums, aquatic centres and student housing running wall-to-wall showers get a constant-pressure answer in this Grundfos Hydro MPC-E 2 CRIE 10-3 set. Everything is ordered under the single part number 93637558.

Flow capacity reaches 521 L/min. Up to 43 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. Control sits with the GENIECON multi-pump controller in its touch-equipped panel, adjusting each pump individually and rotating duty by load, run hours and faults.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 3 x 415 V power at 50 Hz with a rated current of 8.9 A, with IP54 motor protection and a 16 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Applications include industry, water supply networks and irrigation schemes. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.

Features

  • A suction-side pressure sensor guards the pumps against dry running.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Rated 2.2 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • The GENIECON UNIT applies the pumps' exact hydraulic and electrical data when making control decisions.
  • GENIECON PANEL control with touch display gives operating staff full staging visibility.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • Two Grundfos CRIE 10-3 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • The set ships with an 8L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • Rated for 16 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
