Product Overview

For expanding commercial sites whose original mains feed no longer keep pace, a factory-assembled Hydro MPC-E 2 CRIE 20-1 package provides a well-matched solution, with two CRIE 20-1 pumps staged against the demand curve. Specify part number 93637609 and the whole set lands tested, assembled and ready for pipework.

Flow capacity reaches 1160 L/min. Up to 20 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. Control sits with the GENIECON multi-pump controller in its touch-equipped panel, adjusting each pump individually and rotating duty by load, run hours and faults.

The two-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 80 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 400 V at 50 Hz with a rated current of 8.9 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Its home ground covers irrigation schemes, commercial buildings and water supply networks. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.

Features

  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • Each pump is driven by permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • Two Grundfos CRIE 20-1 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Rated for 16 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • The GENIECON UNIT applies the pumps' exact hydraulic and electrical data when making control decisions.
  • The touch-panel GENIECON interface shows system status and allows direct setpoint changes on the door.
  • Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 80 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • An integrated 8L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Rated 2.2 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
