Product Overview

Across installations such as cafe strips and small assemblies where a dishwasher cycle drops the street pressure, the Hydro MPC-E 2 CRIE 5-5 maintains stable pressure at every draw-off point. Part number 93637527 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

Flow capacity reaches 336 L/min. Up to 49 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. A Grundfos GENIECON PANEL on the common base frame provides the system control; the GENIECON UNIT within it holds the exact hydraulic and electrical data of the pumps, so staging and changeover decisions are based on the pumps' actual curves.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 1 x 400 V power at 50 Hz with a rated current of 6.4 A, with IP54 motor protection and a 16 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Expect it on water supply networks and irrigation schemes sites, plus commercial buildings duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • Each pump is driven by permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • Two Grundfos CRIE 5-5 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • The touch-panel GENIECON interface shows system status and allows direct setpoint changes on the door.
  • Rated for 16 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • An integrated 8L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • The GENIECON UNIT applies the pumps' exact hydraulic and electrical data when making control decisions.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Rated 1.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
