Product Overview
For residential towers and medium commercial sites outgrowing their mains pressure, a factory-assembled Hydro MPC-E 2 CRNE 10-6 package provides a well-matched solution, with two CRNE 10-6 pumps staged against the demand curve. One factory-tested package replaces a shelf of loose components; order part number 93637840 to put it on site.
This set provides up to 520 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 87 metres of head where required. A Grundfos GENIECON PANEL on the common base frame provides the system control; the GENIECON UNIT within it holds the exact hydraulic and electrical data of the pumps, so staging and changeover decisions are based on the pumps' actual curves.
Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 400 V supply at 50 Hz with a rated current of 15.5 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 16 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.
Expect it on water supply networks and irrigation schemes sites, plus high-rise developments duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.
Features
- Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
- A suction-side pressure sensor guards the pumps against dry running.
- Two Grundfos CRNE 10-6 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
- Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
- An integrated 8L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
- Rated 4 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
- Control decisions come from real pump curves, not generic models, via the GENIECON UNIT.
- Each pump is driven by permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
- Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
- The touch-panel GENIECON interface shows system status and allows direct setpoint changes on the door.
- Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
