Product Overview

Sites such as holiday units and boutique apartment blocks juggling showers at the morning peak require consistent pressure regardless of demand fluctuation; the Hydro MPC-E 2 CRNE 3-4 achieves this with two CRNE 3-4 pumps operating in parallel. Specify part number 93637755 and the whole set lands tested, assembled and ready for pipework.

The system supports flow rates up to 173 L/min. It can develop up to 36 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. A Grundfos GENIECON PANEL on the common base frame provides the system control; the GENIECON UNIT within it holds the exact hydraulic and electrical data of the pumps, so staging and changeover decisions are based on the pumps' actual curves.

The two-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 1 x 230 V at 50 Hz with a rated current of 6.7 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Typical duty sits with commercial buildings, industry and water supply networks. It is designed for clean-water pressure boosting where demand varies through the day.

Features

  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • The touch-panel GENIECON interface shows system status and allows direct setpoint changes on the door.
  • Each main pump is rated 0.55 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
  • The GENIECON UNIT applies the pumps' exact hydraulic and electrical data when making control decisions.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • The set ships with an 8L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • A suction-side pressure sensor guards the pumps against dry running.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
  • Two Grundfos CRNE 3-4 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
