Product Overview
For boutique motels and dental suites whose tenants notice every pressure dip, a factory-assembled Hydro MPC-E 2 CRNE 5-14 package provides a well-matched solution, with two CRNE 5-14 pumps staged against the demand curve. Part number 93637815 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.
This set provides up to 324 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 137 metres of head where required. A Grundfos GENIECON PANEL on the common base frame provides the system control; the GENIECON UNIT within it holds the exact hydraulic and electrical data of the pumps, so staging and changeover decisions are based on the pumps' actual curves.
Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 400 V supply at 50 Hz with a rated current of 12.1 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 16 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.
Its home ground covers high-rise developments, industry and irrigation schemes. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.
Features
- Two Grundfos CRNE 5-14 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
- Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
- An integrated 8L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- Rated 3 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
- Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
- The touch-panel GENIECON interface shows system status and allows direct setpoint changes on the door.
- The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
- Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
- Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
- Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
- The GENIECON UNIT applies the pumps' exact hydraulic and electrical data when making control decisions.
- A suction-side pressure sensor guards the pumps against dry running.

How are the pumps interconnected via common stainless steel suction and discharge manifolds?
Header plumbing on the Grundfos Hydro MPC-E 2 CRNE 5-14 V1 GA-A-A-AGU provides R 2" stainless steel suction and discharge connections accompanied by isolating valves and discharge check valves.
What manufacturer warranty terms back this complete packaged booster package?
Protection on the Hydro MPC-E 2 CRNE 5-14 is provided by a comprehensive Grundfos two-year manufacturer warranty with extensive Australian technical service and spare parts support.
How much fluid volume can the parallel centrifugal wet ends discharge when operating together?
Under maximum network draw, the Hydro-MPC-E-2-CRNE-5-14 supplies a peak fluid flow rate of up to 324 L/min across its variable speed centrifugal stages.
Which permanent magnet or inverter electric motors power this parallel pump assembly?
Propulsion across the Hydro MPC E 2 CRNE 5 14 is supplied by two variable frequency drive MGE electric motors rated at 3 kW each, operating on a 3 x 400 V electrical supply with integrated frequency converters for precise pressure control.
How much total dynamic head does this multi pump booster package generate under peak demand?
For vertical pressure boosting, the 2 CRNE 5-14 (Hydro MPC-E) produces up to 137 m total elevation head with a 16 bar maximum working pressure envelope.
