Product Overview

Sites such as cafe strips and small assemblies where a dishwasher cycle drops the street pressure require consistent pressure regardless of demand fluctuation; the Hydro MPC-E 2 CRNE 5-9 achieves this with two CRNE 5-9 pumps operating in parallel. Everything is ordered under the single part number 93637795.

It handles flows up to 336 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 89 metres of head when pressure demand increases. Control sits with the GENIECON multi-pump controller in its touch-equipped panel, adjusting each pump individually and rotating duty by load, run hours and faults.

The two-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 400 V at 50 Hz with a rated current of 8.9 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Expect it on irrigation schemes and industry sites, plus high-rise developments duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
  • Two Grundfos CRNE 5-9 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Rated 2.2 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • The touch-panel GENIECON interface shows system status and allows direct setpoint changes on the door.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Control decisions come from real pump curves, not generic models, via the GENIECON UNIT.
  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • An integrated 8L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
  • Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Rated for 16 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
