Product Overview
Business parks adding tenancies faster than their mains can serve rely on booster systems with no tolerance for pressure variation, and the Hydro MPC-E 3 CRIE 10-6 is engineered for exactly that duty. Part number 93637569 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.
It handles flows up to 780 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 87 metres of head when pressure demand increases. A Grundfos GENIECON PANEL on the common base frame provides the system control; the GENIECON UNIT within it holds the exact hydraulic and electrical data of the pumps, so staging and changeover decisions are based on the pumps' actual curves.
For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 80 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 3 x 400 V power at 50 Hz with a rated current of 22.9 A, with IP54 motor protection and a 16 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.
Typical duty sits with water supply networks, high-rise developments and commercial buildings. It is designed for clean-water pressure boosting where demand varies through the day.
Features
- Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
- Each main pump is rated 4 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
- Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
- An integrated 8L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
- The touch-panel GENIECON interface shows system status and allows direct setpoint changes on the door.
- The system pairs three CRIE 10-6 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
- Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
- The GENIECON UNIT applies the pumps' exact hydraulic and electrical data when making control decisions.
- Frequency converters on the motors pair with permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
- Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two 80 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
- Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
