Product Overview

Engineered to meet the highest Australasian commercial plumbing standards, the Grundfos Hydro MPC-E 3 x CRIE 20-1 Three Phase 3 x 2.2kW 304ss Booster System w/8L Tank and CU 352 Controller delivers reliable water delivery. Three Grundfos CRIE 20-1 multistage pumps work in unison to eliminate pressure fluctuations during heavy usage. Part number 93637610 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

The heavy-duty multistage assemblies comfortably handle peak line flows up to 1750 L/min. Across vertical multi-storey plumbing risers, the package comfortably develops up to 20.9 metres of head. A Grundfos GENIECON PANEL on the common base frame provides system control; the GENIECON unit inside holds the exact hydraulic data of the pumps to stage operation precisely according to real-time curve demand.

Engineered for harsh commercial duties, the package features an ultra-sturdy base. The set is fully pre-plumbed with two 100 mm manifold connections, dedicated isolation valves, and integrated non-return valves on each discharge line. It connects to a 3 x 400 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with combined rated current of 12.9 A (3 x 4.3 A per pump). A 8L diaphragm pressure tank absorbs initial draw-offs and line hammer, while IP55 enclosure protection and a 16 bar pressure rating ensure long-term mechanical reliability. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C for all standard clean water booster duties.

Tailored for public transport depots, tram maintenance centres, and passenger concourses. Integrating variable speed electronic control eliminates water hammer, extends mechanical life, and lowers lifecycle energy consumption compared to fixed-speed boosting systems.

What electric motor power and supply voltage powers each pump in this packaged booster set?

Variable frequency drive electronics on the Grundfos Hydro MPC-E 3 CRIE 20-1 V1 GA-A-A-AG (part number 93637610) control three IE5 permanent-magnet MGE electric motors of 2.2 kW each from a 3 x 400 V power supply.

Which system working pressure and maximum vertical head does this multistage booster unit produce?

Header line pressure created by the Hydro MPC-E 3 CRIE 20-1 delivers up to 20.9 m total dynamic head across pipework rated up to 16 bar.

How are the parallel centrifugal pumps connected to common suction and discharge manifolds?

Interconnecting fluid headers on the Hydro-MPC-E-3-CRIE-20-1 incorporate DN 100 stainless steel suction and discharge pipework with built-in isolating valves and non-return valves.

How is this multistage booster skid protected under manufacturer warranty terms?

The complete factory package of the Hydro MPC E 3 CRIE 20 1 is supported by a Grundfos two-year manufacturer warranty encompassing the base skid, motors, and wet ends.

How much discharge water flow does this variable speed booster unit supply across the distribution ringmain?

Discharge performance allows the 3 CRIE 20-1 (Hydro MPC-E) to supply up to 1750 L/min of water across distribution ringmains.
