Product Overview

Childcare centres and clinic fitouts that live on steady warm-water supply rely on booster systems with no tolerance for pressure variation, and the Hydro MPC-E 3 CRIE 5-5 is engineered for exactly that duty. Everything is ordered under the single part number 93637528.

It handles flows up to 505 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 49 metres of head when pressure demand increases. Control sits with the GENIECON multi-pump controller in its touch-equipped panel, adjusting each pump individually and rotating duty by load, run hours and faults.

Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 1 x 400 V supply at 50 Hz with a rated current of 9.3 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 16 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Typical duty sits with water supply networks, industry and irrigation schemes. It is designed for clean-water pressure boosting where demand varies through the day.

Features

  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
  • Each main pump is rated 1.5 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
  • Control decisions come from real pump curves, not generic models, via the GENIECON UNIT.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • The set ships with an 8L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
  • Three Grundfos CRIE 5-5 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • GENIECON PANEL control with touch display gives operating staff full staging visibility.

Which factory warranty coverage and service terms apply to this booster assembly?

The complete factory package of the Grundfos Hydro MPC-E 3 CRIE 5-5 V1 GA-A-A-AG is supported by a Grundfos two-year manufacturer warranty encompassing the base skid, motors, and wet ends.

What total water pumping volume can this packaged multi pump assembly achieve at peak system duty?

Meeting high volumetric requirements, the Hydro MPC-E 3 CRIE 5-5 achieves a maximum water delivery capacity of 505 L/min through coordinated parallel pump operation.

What variable frequency motor propulsion powers each pump wet end in this packaged booster skid?

Mechanical drive on the Hydro-MPC-E-3-CRIE-5-5 features three inverter-controlled variable frequency drive MGE electric motors producing 1.5 kW per pump, powered by a 1 x 400 V connection for energy-optimised water delivery.

What dynamic head pressure does this parallel booster package generate across distribution pipework?

Discharge pressure performance allows the Hydro MPC E 3 CRIE 5 5 to achieve up to 49 m maximum dynamic head under a 16 bar rated system pressure.

How are the parallel multistage pumps plumbed into common suction and discharge manifolds?

Interconnecting pipework on the 3 CRIE 5-5 (Hydro MPC-E) features factory-fitted R 2" stainless steel suction and discharge manifolds fitted with non-return check valves and isolation valves.
