Product Overview

The Hydro MPC-E 3 CRNE 10-3 is a proven fit for residential towers and medium commercial sites outgrowing their mains pressure, with three Grundfos CRNE 10-3 pumps staged automatically as demand varies. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 93637831.

It handles flows up to 781 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 43 metres of head when pressure demand increases. Control sits with the GENIECON multi-pump controller in its touch-equipped panel, adjusting each pump individually and rotating duty by load, run hours and faults.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 80 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 400 V at 50 Hz with a rated current of 12.9 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Its home ground covers industry, commercial buildings and high-rise developments. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.

Features

  • Rated 2.2 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 80 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Control decisions come from real pump curves, not generic models, via the GENIECON UNIT.
  • The touch-panel GENIECON interface shows system status and allows direct setpoint changes on the door.
  • Three Grundfos CRNE 10-3 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • An integrated 8L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • A suction-side pressure sensor guards the pumps against dry running.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
