Product Overview

In aged-care villages and medical centres that cannot tolerate pressure swings, the simultaneous demand of the morning peak places heavy loads on the supply; the Hydro MPC-E 3 CRNE 15-7 answers with three CRNE 15-7 pumps operating in parallel. Specify part number 93637876 and the whole set lands tested, assembled and ready for pipework.

It handles flows up to 1309 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 138 metres of head when pressure demand increases. A Grundfos GENIECON PANEL on the common base frame provides the system control; the GENIECON UNIT within it holds the exact hydraulic and electrical data of the pumps, so staging and changeover decisions are based on the pumps' actual curves.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 100 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 400 V at 50 Hz with a rated current of 41.7 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Applications include industry, high-rise developments and commercial buildings. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.

Features

  • A suction-side pressure sensor guards the pumps against dry running.
  • Control decisions come from real pump curves, not generic models, via the GENIECON UNIT.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • The set ships with an 8L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • Each main pump is rated 7.5 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
  • The touch-panel GENIECON interface shows system status and allows direct setpoint changes on the door.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • Three Grundfos CRNE 15-7 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 100 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
