Product Overview

Expanding commercial sites whose original mains feed no longer keep pace get a constant-pressure answer in this Grundfos Hydro MPC-E 3 CRNE 20-3 set. Part number 93637891 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

The system supports flow rates up to 1736 L/min. It can develop up to 61 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. A Grundfos GENIECON PANEL on the common base frame provides the system control; the GENIECON UNIT within it holds the exact hydraulic and electrical data of the pumps, so staging and changeover decisions are based on the pumps' actual curves.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 100 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 400 V at 50 Hz with a rated current of 30.7 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Applications include commercial buildings, industry and high-rise developments. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.

Features

  • Rated 5.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • The touch-panel GENIECON interface shows system status and allows direct setpoint changes on the door.
  • An integrated 8L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 100 mm manifold connections.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • The GENIECON UNIT applies the pumps' exact hydraulic and electrical data when making control decisions.
  • Three Grundfos CRNE 20-3 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
