Product Overview

Small sites where a duty-point review calls for reserve pump capacity rely on booster systems with no tolerance for pressure variation, and the Hydro MPC-E 3 CRNE 5-14 is engineered for exactly that duty. Quote part number 93637816 to have it arrive pre-configured and ready for the plant room.

The system supports flow rates up to 486 L/min. It can develop up to 137 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. Control sits with the GENIECON multi-pump controller in its touch-equipped panel, adjusting each pump individually and rotating duty by load, run hours and faults.

Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 400 V supply at 50 Hz with a rated current of 17.7 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 16 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.

Expect it on irrigation schemes and commercial buildings sites, plus high-rise developments duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Each main pump is rated 3 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
  • Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
  • The touch-panel GENIECON interface shows system status and allows direct setpoint changes on the door.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • Three Grundfos CRNE 5-14 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
  • Control decisions come from real pump curves, not generic models, via the GENIECON UNIT.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • An integrated 8L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
