Product Overview
Where cafe strips and small assemblies where a dishwasher cycle drops the street pressure are served from a single booster, the Hydro MPC-E 3 CRNE 5-5 holds pressure steady as three CRNE 5-5 pumps respond to changing flow. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 93637791.
It handles flows up to 505 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 49 metres of head when pressure demand increases. A Grundfos GENIECON PANEL on the common base frame provides the system control; the GENIECON UNIT within it holds the exact hydraulic and electrical data of the pumps, so staging and changeover decisions are based on the pumps' actual curves.
The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus an 8L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 400 V at 50 Hz with a rated current of 9.3 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C.
Its home ground covers irrigation schemes, high-rise developments and water supply networks. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.
Features
- Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
- Frequency converters on the motors pair with permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
- Each main pump is rated 1.5 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
- GENIECON PANEL control with touch display gives operating staff full staging visibility.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
- Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
- Three Grundfos CRNE 5-5 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
- Inlet pressure monitoring provides dry-running protection if the suction supply is insufficient.
- Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
- An integrated 8L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
- The GENIECON UNIT applies the pumps' exact hydraulic and electrical data when making control decisions.
- Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
