Product Overview

Across installations such as gymnasiums, aquatic centres and student housing running wall-to-wall showers, the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE 10-10 maintains stable pressure at every draw-off point. Part number 99657285 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

The system supports flow rates up to 511 L/min. It can develop up to 145 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 3 x 380-415 V power at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 21.9 A, with IP54 motor protection and a 16 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 16 bar.

Applications include hotel plant rooms, industrial process supply and aged-care complexes. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.

Features

  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Rated 5.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Two Grundfos CRE 10-10 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Rated for 16 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
