Product Overview
The Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE32-1-1 is a proven fit for stadium amenities and convention centres that fill to the brim in short bursts, with two Grundfos CRE 32-1 pumps staged automatically as demand varies. Part number 93320232 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.
This set provides up to 1353 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 22 metres of head where required. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.
Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 100 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 5.6 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.
Its home ground covers mixed-use commercial buildings, aged-care complexes and schools and universities. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.
Features
- Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
- The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
- Rated 1.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
- Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two 100 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
- No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
- The system pairs two CRE 32-1 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
- Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
- Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
- Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
- Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
- An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
