Product Overview

Processing plants and multi-storey carparks whose boosters never truly idle rely on booster systems with no tolerance for pressure variation, and the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE32-2 is engineered for exactly that duty. Part number 93320236 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

This set provides up to 1545 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 57 metres of head where required. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

The two-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 100 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 27.2 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Applications include hospitals, industrial process supply and high-rise apartments. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.

Features

  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Rated 5.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 100 mm manifold connections.
  • Two Grundfos CRE 32-2 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
