Product Overview
High-traffic commercial complexes that cannot trade on an 8 am pressure sag get a constant-pressure answer in this Grundfos Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE32-4-2 set. Specify part number 93320238 and the whole set lands tested, assembled and ready for pipework.
This set provides up to 1409 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 98 metres of head where required. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.
The two-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 100 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 39.2 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 16 bar.
Expect it on high-rise apartments and mixed-use commercial buildings sites, plus industrial process supply duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.
Features
- Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
- Two Grundfos CRE 32-4 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
- Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
- Rated for 16 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
- Rated 7.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
- Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
- Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two 100 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
- Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
- Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
- The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
- Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
- No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
