Product Overview

Across installations such as hospital precincts and university campuses feeding dozens of en-suite banks, the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE45-1-1 maintains stable pressure at every draw-off point. Part number 93320244 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

It handles flows up to 2213 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 29 metres of head when pressure demand increases. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

The two-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 150 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 19.9 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Typical duty sits with hotel plant rooms, hospitals and aged-care complexes. It is designed for clean-water pressure boosting where demand varies through the day.

Features

  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 150 mm manifold connections.
  • Two Grundfos CRE 45-1 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Each main pump is rated 4 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
