Product Overview

Sites such as day spas and compact medical centres running half a dozen outlets at once require consistent pressure regardless of demand fluctuation; the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE 5-2 achieves this with two CRE 5-2 pumps operating in parallel. Part number 99614323 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

The system supports flow rates up to 336 L/min. It can develop up to 19 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 2.94 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Applications include schools and universities, mixed-use commercial buildings and industrial process supply. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.

Features

  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • Rated 0.55 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • The system pairs two CRE 5-2 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
