Product Overview
Distribution depots and cold stores running continuous hose-down stations get a constant-pressure answer in this Grundfos Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE95-1 set. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 93328669.
It handles flows up to 4641 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 43 metres of head when pressure demand increases. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.
The two-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 200 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 39.2 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.
Applications include hospitals, aged-care complexes and mixed-use commercial buildings. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.
Features
- At P2 each main pump is 11 kW, covering the duty without oversizing the frame.
- Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
- The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
- Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
- The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 200 mm manifold connections.
- The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
- Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
- The system pairs two CRE 95-1 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
- No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
- Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
- Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
- Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
- Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.

Which fluid delivery volume does this parallel booster assembly displace during high demand hours?
Operating across its factory curve, the Grundfos Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE95-1 U2 A-A-I-I-DU discharges up to 4641 L/min of clean water to maintain consistent line pressure during peak demand cycles.
What motor propulsion and electronic speed control system drives this multi pump booster skid?
Each centrifugal stage of the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE95-1 is driven by a 11 kW IE5 permanent-magnet MGE electric motor running on 3 x 380-415 V power, utilizing built-in variable speed drives to adjust output dynamically.
Under peak network pressure requirements, what dynamic head does this booster unit maintain?
Elevating water across multi-level pipework, the Hydro-Multi-E-2-CRE95-1 maintains up to 43 m total dynamic head with an overall 10 bar maximum operating limit.
How are the common suction and discharge headers arranged across the parallel pump set?
Plumbed for rapid site installation, the Hydro Multi E 2 CRE95 1 includes DN 200 stainless steel headers equipped with dedicated isolating valves, check valves, and pressure transmitters.
What warranty coverage backs this complete factory assembled booster assembly?
Grundfos provides two-year manufacturer warranty coverage on the 2 CRE95-1 (Hydro Multi-E), securing the complete multi-pump package, manifolds, and integrated electronics.
