Product Overview

The Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE95-1 is a proven fit for processing plants and multi-storey carparks whose boosters never truly idle, with two Grundfos CRE 95-1 pumps staged automatically as demand varies. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 93328671.

It handles flows up to 5004 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 45 metres of head when pressure demand increases. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 200 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 3 x 380-415 V power at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 51.6 A, with IP54 motor protection and a 10 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Typical duty sits with hotel plant rooms, aged-care complexes and schools and universities. It is designed for clean-water pressure boosting where demand varies through the day.

Features

  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Two Grundfos CRE 95-1 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 200 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Each main pump is rated 15 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
