Product Overview
Sites such as high-occupancy towers where every level opens its taps inside the same half hour require consistent pressure regardless of demand fluctuation; the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE95-2-1 achieves this with two CRE 95-2 pumps operating in parallel. One factory-tested package replaces a shelf of loose components; order part number 93320278 to put it on site.
The system supports flow rates up to 5004 L/min. It can develop up to 80 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.
For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 200 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 3 x 380-415 V power at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 75.4 A, with IP54 motor protection and a 10 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.
Expect it on schools and universities and industrial process supply sites, plus mixed-use commercial buildings duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.
Features
- Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
- At P2 each main pump is 22 kW, covering the duty without oversizing the frame.
- Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
- The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 200 mm manifold connections.
- An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
- No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
- The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
- Two Grundfos CRE 95-2 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
- Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
- Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
- Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
- The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
