Product Overview

In processing plants and multi-storey carparks whose boosters never truly idle, the simultaneous demand of the morning peak places heavy loads on the supply; the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE95-2-2 answers with two CRE 95-2 pumps operating in parallel. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 93320276.

It handles flows up to 5004 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 71 metres of head when pressure demand increases. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 200 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 3 x 380-415 V power at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 64 A, with IP54 motor protection and a 10 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Its home ground covers hotel plant rooms, industrial process supply and hospitals. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.

Features

  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 200 mm manifold connections.
  • Two Grundfos CRE 95-2 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Rated 18.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
