Product Overview
The Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE95-2 is a proven fit for high-occupancy towers where every level opens its taps inside the same half hour, with two Grundfos CRE 95-2 pumps staged automatically as demand varies. Part number 93320280 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.
It handles flows up to 4970 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 89 metres of head when pressure demand increases. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.
The two-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 200 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 87.6 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.
Its home ground covers hospitals, hotel plant rooms and mixed-use commercial buildings. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.
Features
- An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
- The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
- Two Grundfos CRE 95-2 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
- Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
- Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
- The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
- Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
- Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
- The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
- Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
- The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 200 mm manifold connections.
- At P2 each main pump is 26 kW, covering the duty without oversizing the frame.
