Product Overview

Expanding commercial sites whose original mains feed no longer keep pace rely on booster systems with no tolerance for pressure variation, and the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRNE 10-1 is engineered for exactly that duty. Everything is ordered under the single part number 99752252.

This set provides up to 504 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 13 metres of head where required. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 1 x 200-240 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 6.68 A. Motors are protected to IP55, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Typical duty sits with mixed-use commercial buildings, hospitals and schools and universities. It is designed for clean-water pressure boosting where demand varies through the day.

Features

  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • At P2 each main pump is 0.55 kW, covering the duty without oversizing the frame.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Two Grundfos CRNE 10-1 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP55.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
