Product Overview

Sites such as hotels whose kitchen, laundry and bath peak collide at six in the morning require consistent pressure regardless of demand fluctuation; the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRNE 10-2 achieves this with two CRNE 10-2 pumps operating in parallel. Everything is ordered under the single part number 99752280.

Flow capacity reaches 509 L/min. Up to 28 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

The two-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 4.74 A. The motors have IP55 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Typical duty sits with high-rise apartments, hospitals and industrial process supply. It is designed for clean-water pressure boosting where demand varies through the day.

Features

  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP55 protection.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • Two Grundfos CRNE 10-2 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Rated 1.1 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
