Product Overview

School blocks and council facilities fed by long, pressure-hungry reticulation rely on booster systems with no tolerance for pressure variation, and the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRNE 10-4 is engineered for exactly that duty. Everything is ordered under the single part number 99752283.

This set provides up to 453 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 57 metres of head where required. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 1 x 200-240 V power at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 17.5 A, with IP55 motor protection and a 10 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Applications include schools and universities, hospitals and high-rise apartments. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.

Features

  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP55 protection.
  • Two Grundfos CRNE 10-4 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Rated 1.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
