Product Overview

In gymnasiums, aquatic centres and student housing running wall-to-wall showers, the simultaneous demand of the morning peak places heavy loads on the supply; the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRNE 20-1 answers with two CRNE 20-1 pumps operating in parallel. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 99752345.

It handles flows up to 1074 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 20 metres of head when pressure demand increases. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 80 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 3 x 380-415 V power at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 6.2 A, with IP55 motor protection and a 10 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Expect it on schools and universities and aged-care complexes sites, plus industrial process supply duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • Two Grundfos CRNE 20-1 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 80 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Rated 1.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP55 protection.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
